
Dr. Stewart was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 2016, and then went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine at Louisiana Tech University in 2020. Dr. Stewart furthered her studies at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine to earn her DVM in 2024. During her time at LSU, she served as the President for the Student Association for Black Veterinarians, sat on the Committee for Student Mentorship, and was awarded the Merck Academic Excellence Award and the Equine Medicine and Surgery Certificate of Merit.
Dr. Stewart’s special interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and preventative medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Stewart enjoys playing piano, painting, and photography all while spending time with her family.
